Poem Competition

I felt nervous before saying my poem to the class because I saw a lot of people watching.
I felt happy after saying my poem to the class because I said it loud and clear. 
I think I did an awesome job at reciting  my poem because everyone could hear me.

Art

 I love my artwork because I love the apples and the tree leaves. My favourite step of doing this artwork was using the cotton balls.

Nga Tae

 We are learning to communicate about physical characteristics in Te Reo Maori. I can identify some Maori colours. I enjoyed learning about Maori colours because they look good.

Persuasive Writing

 

We are learning to write a persuasive piece of writing to try and convince the reader our opinion. I can come up with reasons why you should buy this broken toy. It was tricky to come up with reasons because it was hard to think with a lot of noise.

Instruction Writing

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          I was learning to write instructions. I can write my instructions in the right order. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I like my monster soup recipe because its yucky.

Feelings Art

This term we have been learning all about emotions. We watched the  movie Inside Out. We did some artwork about feelings and the characters from the movie. I love my artwork because it looks cool.

Narratie Writing

I was learning to describe the setting.I can use descriptive words to describe the setting.It was tricky because it was hard to come up with the words to describe the picture.

Arts and Crafts

We got lots of arts and crafts items, so we can use our imagination and let our creative side out. We have made lots of special creations, and made lot of mess!

Activity Book

I have been working hard to complete my activity book! Thank you Miss Armiger, this has been fun!

Shadow Drawings

When it is nice and sunny, we can use a peice of white paper, and use an item to draw the shadow of! Simply place the item close to the paper so it picks up the shadow, and trace around it  :)

New BMX Bike

I got a brand new BMX bike to keep up my exercise and daily rides with my family. We look out for all the bears in people's windows!

Sea Week Art

I was learning to blend colours using paint. My favourite part of doing this artwork was making cool Jelly Fish. I love this artwork because it was fun to make.

Swimming

My favourite part of our swimming is playing with my friends.  I find it tricky to see in the water. I love swimming because I can lie on my back in the water.
